MY FAMILY
We take family photos at least once per year, sometimes twice…in 2019, I am not ashamed to admit I had our family photos done THREE TIMES because I love photos so much. Our family changes so much every year, and I want to freeze every second that I possibly can and be able to look back and remember everything.
These are my favorite people in the entire world…they are my reason for doing everything that I do. I plaster my walls in my home with pictures of all of these guys…they are the best.

Hi. This is me. My name is Stephanie. What’s up?! :)
As a mother of two young kids, there is not much that makes me bat an eye. You don’t have to act perfect with me. My daughter is a NUT, so there is nothing that can phase me! NOTHING! :) :) You guys…I am totally informal. I hate talking about myself, but I want to give you a glimpse into who I am...also, there is an intense amount of peer pressure because…isn’t this what photographers do? Write these big elaborate biographies? Woof…I am just not good at these things!
When you have a session with me, we are hanging out. I am all about making people comfortable and having your session not be a whole thing… Yes, you can dress up and look beautiful, but I want you to have fun and feel as though you are just spending time with a friend.
If you have little ones, I am going to be on their level and making him/her/them feel special and like we are just hanging out and playing and not forcing them to do something that is going to ignite the tantrum. Little ones are my people, ESPECIALLY toddlers. I LOVE toddlers and babies!! We just get each other.
If you have a husband/spouse who hates getting his (and I say “his” because, let’s face it, it usually is the dude who isn’t all about it…) picture taken, fret not. I am not one of these people who makes it weird. I mean…I can make it weird, but I prefer to just make it easy so that you don’t have to worry about him using the experience against you in the future to not get photos taken ever again…
If you have had a bad experience in the past with photos, I promise you that I will take the time and be very patient to get things right. I don’t care if kids cry and/or throw a fit - I expect it, and it is NOT a problem if they do!
I want this process to be easy, fun, and worth it for you. I am not a salesperson…I am not judgmental…I am just here to make people happy and share my talents to give you something that you will be able to have forever. The end! :)
Oh…one thing I get asked a lot is “Uhh…Fin…keenie? Fin-kanny?” - Nope.
Fink + Stephanie = Finkanie
Pronounced “Fink-uh-knee” (but say it fast, guys.)
My maiden name is Fink. Finkanie was a childhood nickname. The More You Know :)
