Kalamazoo, MI Mini Session // Bolinger Family

One thing that always makes me just as excited as it does nervous is meeting and working with a new family for the first time! I tend to only talk to the kiddos during sessions because I have my methods, so I always worry if the grownups think I am being rude…hopefully not!! Kids are just the best, and when they are happy to be there and wanting to let you know what they think is awesome, then you better listen!

I was greeted by two super cute little dudes and their SWEET rock collection! I tell you what…as a kid, I thought collecting rocks was awesome, so when a little one comes to me proud of the rocks they have found, I am genuinely into what they are showing to me! Kids really are the best…it is, without a doubt, the best part of my job. It is nice to let Mom & Dad kind of hang back and chill while the kids and I get to know each other, and these sweet boys were so easy! We could have easily hung out for another hour or so…they did a great job! I told Max that I would include a special shot of him with his favorite rock…he was cracking me up with his awesome poses, so obviously, I had to throw it in for him because he was so proud!

I personally always love meeting a Mommy to only boys. It really is a special thing! Boy moms are truly the heroes of this world. I definitely was honored to have met and worked with this family! Welcome to Michigan!
